  • We offer scholarship opportunities for each 4-week beginner class that covers 25% of the full tuition cost. If you’re interested in applying, simply fill out the form on the Art League website.

  • Something that you are comfortable getting dirty! Pottery gets pretty messy, pretty quickly, so break out your old clothing. An apron or smock is a good idea for committed students. For wheel classes, we recommend bringing a couple of old hand towels to cover your legs.

  • When you sign up, you will choose which day and time are best for you. You will then attend each class on the same day and time. Unfortunately, since seats and wheels are limited, we cannot let students mix days/times to attend.

  • Yes, we offer open studios on Sundays from 11 :00 am– 4:00 pm to anyone who is currently enrolled in a session.

  • This is dependent upon attendance. Pottery can be tricky. It must be completely dry before it’s fired or it explodes. Generally, most things are fired before your next class, if it is a large piece, a wet piece, or if we don't have enough for a full kiln load or we have more kiln loads than we can run in a week, it could take a couple of weeks. Each kiln load takes about 36 hours from when we load it until it is cool enough to unload.

  • Unfortunately no, but our community of potters could certainly refer you to another resource in the Greater Lafayette area.

  • Yes, BUT it must be a manufacture-labeled cone 5 – 6 clay body approved by the Head Instructor. To cover studio operation costs it will have a $45 firing and materials fee added to each 25-pound bag.

  • • Lowered our class size

    • Spaced the wheels 6 ft. apart

    • Face coverings encouraged

    • Sanitizing tools in between classes

    • Hand sanitizer will be provided

    • Sanitizing surfaces at the beginning and end of each session

  • Each student currently enrolled in a session gets 4-ft. of shelving space to store their work. The fee for shelving is included in the cost for each class.
