Wheel Throwing | Mornings

Learn the basics of throwing clay on the potter’s wheel, and then practice. There is joy in imposing your will on a spinning lump of clay and making something beautiful and/or useful. All levels of expertise are welcome.

All new students can use our recycled clay. Intermediate students can purchase clay at https://www.artlafayette.org/classes/p/clay. Please bring a towel; all other tools and glazes are provided for 6 classes.

Enrollment allows you to attend open studio (no instruction) on Sundays 11 AM - 3:30 PM.
