Try soft pastels in this beginner-friendly class! Explore blending, layering, and color mixing with soft pastels through guided exercises. No prior experience is required.
This class emphasizes developing foundational and mark-making techniques.
Please note that chalk/soft pastels can get messy! So wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Supplies
The soft pastels will be provided for the duration of the class.
If students are interested in buying their ownsoft pastels, the instructor recommends MUNGYO Soft Pastels
Students should bring either a pastel paper pad or a mixed media journal, which can be bought online or at most art stores for $8-$20.
