Metal-smithing: Copper Curio Ring or Pendant

from $112.50

Skill Level: Beginner-friendly: Ages 16+

Join Lilwen Jones in her weekend workshop dedicated to instructing on the techniques of crafting artistry from the prairies, creeks, and forests of the Midwest. In Lilwen’s class, you’ll be guided through the basic methods of copper-smithing by creating your own curio ring or pendant. During class, we'll discuss how to forage and gather your own wild materials. How to start building your very own copper-smithing toolkit. And most importantly, how to honor your own unique artistic style in the handcrafted piece you take home. This workshop is all about finding the beauty hidden within the earth around us and channeling that into wearable works of art. While making sure to create a slow-paced, calming, and non-judgmental environment for creativity. If you have a passion for nature and a desire to learn basic metalwork, then this is the artistic course for you.

In this class, you’ll be walked through the process of soldering your own copper curio ring or pendant. No prior experience is required. All materials included
