Want to explore watercolor or delve deeper into the medium? Let’s go on an art adventure! Learn what style you gravitate towards! From abstract to cartoon to realistic and everything in between. There’s no wrong way to paint!
All ages welcome! Recommended for 10 and up. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies! Materials will be supplied for the duration of the class for students without supplies.
Watercolor Exploration Series! Take one or take both!
Monday, January 12th, 6:00 - 8:30 PM - Watercolor + Salt
Use watercolor and create colorful birds! Learn to layer paint and use color schemes to draw inspiration from wildlife photos or your imagination.
Monday, January 19th, 6:00 - 8:30 PM - Watercolor Birds
Play with watercolor texture! Salt can be used to create snow-covered tree branches or fuzzy dandelions in a field. This is a great watercolor exercise in letting go of control!
Please note that the watercolor may need to stay overnight to dry, and students can pick up their pieces later from the museum.
