New Year, New Me! Art Exploration Series
Happy 2026! It’s never too late to try something new! Take an art exploration series and explore old and new art mediums alike! These classes focus on the art process and how to explore the medium and your art style. Find peace and zen in the art process rather than focusing on the final product.
Supplies are available depending on the art medium! Please read the descriptions carefully! Please bring your own sketchbook or drawing pad!

Jan. 4th Sunday - Crayon
You don’t need to spend a fortune to create fun art! You can probably find a box of crayons and a drawing pad at home, or buy them for a few dollars next time you go grocery shopping. We’ll explore how to layer the crayon wax and create anything from landscapes to abstract art!
Students should bring their own sketch/drawing pad, crayons will be supplied for the duration of the class for those without any.
Jan. 11th Sunday - Colored Pencils
You don’t need to spend a fortune to create fun art! You can probably find a box of colored pencils and a drawing pad at home, or buy them for a few dollars next time you go grocery shopping. We’ll explore how to layer the colors and create anything from landscapes to abstract art!
Students should bring their own sketch/drawing pad, and colored pencils will be supplied for the duration of the class for those without any.
Jan. 18th Sunday - Soft Pastel
Explore Soft Pastels! create dreamy and blended colors and sunsets as we practice layering the colors and blending with our hands and Q-tips!
Please note that chalk/soft pastels can get messy! So wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
The instructor recommends getting MUNGYO Soft Pastels, which can usually be bought online for $8-$15. But any Soft Pastels will work well!
Students should bring their own soft pastels. Paper will be supplied for the class.
Jan. 25th Sunday - Mosaic Collage
You don’t need to spend a fortune to create fun art! Recycle magazines, old art, and junk mail into mosaic art! We will use scissors and glue sticks and any recycled paper materials to create a mosaic collage!
Students should bring their own sketch/drawing pad if they have one. Students are encouraged to bring old magazines or paper they want to transform into art! Scissors and Glue sticks will be supplied!
