In these final three weeks of our Learning How to See Series, we’ll tackle highlights and shadows using charcoal. We’ll learn how to push depth and bring highlights to the surface. Make a dramatic, chiaroscuro work of art!
We encourage you to bring your own materials: sketchpad (bigger the better), Compressed Charcoal, Vine Charcoal, kneaded eraser, and hard eraser.
