Art of the Endowment: The gift that keeps on giving

April 11, 2017, 5:00 Weil Gallery

Are you a motivated giver...or perhaps need more information?  Dick and Connie Grace will share an Art Museum success story with you:  Art of the Endowment.

The Connie F. and Richard E. Grace Endowment Fund began in 1997 with contributions by longtime museum members and friends, Dr. and Mrs. Grace.  In 2009, during the Art Museum’s Centennial, they added a major gift and created a formal endowment which is managed by the Art Museum Foundation.  Endowment income is restricted to acquisition and/or conservation of works of art for the museum’s permanent collection.

The Art Museum has acquired over forty works of art with investment income from the Grace Endowment Fund.  Thanks to these enduring gifts, the Art Museum will continue to collect and conserve works for generations to come.  Learn how an endowment gift can benefit our community in the future while creating a legacy for the donor.
