friday night live!

Friday, June 29th

Classic Bang is two dudes who play alternative/indie rock with a sound as fulfilling as a hungryman's breakfast. They are fiercely devoted to melody, expressed in rich harmonies that unfold in their music. Their aura is reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel, but with added crunch and raw intensity. Jake lays down jazzy guitarwork over moody contemplations, while Matt blends deep vocals with upbeat basslines. Their Two Robes EP was released in the fall and is available on Spotify and Apple Music.

2nd Century club tour

Join Kendall Smith, Director, and Michael Crowthers, Curator, on special tours of the IndianaState Museum and the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields.  We will travel in a comfortable motor coach to the first stop at the Indiana State Museum, where Mark Ruschman, Chief Fine Arts Curator will personally guide us through the Lois Main Templeton: A Reinvented Life art exhibition. Then we will travel to the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields for lunch in The Café (not included in the ticket price). Following lunch, we will break up into three groups of 15 to visit three behind-the- scenes museum tours.
