The LaNelle Geddes Matching Campaign
The Art Museum has a unique opportunity to increase your gift to the Art Museum Foundation's endowment by 50%. Thanks to the Community Foundation, every $2 of your gift will receive a $1 match. The growth of our endowments is essential to sustaining a new arts complex for the community. We hope you will want to join us, but we ask that you do it before between November 28, and February 28.
While the match is available until August, we anticipate the $500,000 matching fund will be depleted within a few months. Our $100,000 goal is ambitious, but with your generous gift we believe we can meet it. The match is made by the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette and provided by the estate of LaNelle Geddes, the former head of nursing at Purdue University. Gifts of cash or securities up to $50,000 per household or business are eligible for the match.

You can help the art museum by making a one time donation
For more than 100 years, the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette has partnered with the community to celebrate the power of art to inspire, challenge, and instruct our community through collections, exhibitions, and programs. Our museum has grown and flourished because of the generous support of citizens like you. The Art Museum is a private, non-profit organization that receives no ongoing federal, state or government funding. We depend on membership, corporate sponsorships and private underwriting to - continue our programming, - be open to the public free of charge 7 days a week - provide first rate exhibitions in 5 galleries, which change frequently throughout the year and - provide art educational programs and studio arts classes to the community.
