Membership at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette

Packing for a summer trip? Don’t forget your Art Museum of Greater Lafayette membership card! Members at the $100 Friend level and up have reciprocal access to over 500 museums around the continent! Through the North American Reciprocal Museum program (NARM), you’ll get free admission and a gift shop discount at participating locations. It’s your passport to museum exploration.

Why should I become a museum member?

The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette was founded in 1909. Today, over 100 years later, we celebrate a rich heritage of partnership with Greater Lafayette. Our museum has grown and flourished because of the generous support of citizens like you!

As a not-for-profit institution, the museum depends on the generosity of individuals, families and organizations who share a passion for art. Our museum plays a vital role in the cultural life of the region and brings together those who believe in the power of art to inspire, challenge and entertain people of all ages. The art museum, like art itself, is for everyone!

Members understand the critical role of the museum: enriching the quality of life within the community. The museum offers vast collections, thought-provoking exhibitions and dynamic programs for the whole family, serving our 14-county region. The art museum is as much a service to the community as it is a part of it.

What does my membership do for the Art Museum?

Membership funds keep our doors open. Since the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette is funded through private donations and grants from individuals and organizations, we rely on contributions from people like you. Your membership funds provide for innovative exhibitions and dynamic educational programming for all ages. Your support allows the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette to continue to reach out to the community. And membership funds enable the Museum to offer free, guided tours and programs to thousands of children and adults each year. As a member, you are our partner in providing art to our neighbors.
