Drawing Magic - Fiber Art July 23 – 27 Fiber ART! Have fun using dye, wool and string to create art. Some are useful projects- felted soap anyone? Some are wearable. Some just look good on the wall. The camp image was made with felt and yarn. Wear your grungy clothes for this session.
Wild West! July 16 – 20, 2-4 pm
Horses, Mesas, Coyotes, Cactus, American Indian designs, Cowboys (and Girls!). The inspirations are endless. We will look at Native American Artwork done by children as well as landscapes and bones by Georgia O'Keefe. Create the wild west of your imagination.
Rain Forest Creatures July 9-13, 2-4 pm
Big Bugs, Bright butterflies, monkeys, lizards and fun animals galore live in tropical environments. This session we will use lots of COLOR as we climb from the forest floor to the top of the canopy.
Safari! June 4-8, 2-4 pm Children 1st - 6th grade Head out to the savanna and capture your hunt on paper. Lions, Giraffes, Elephants. Draw fast as you catch the gazelles leaping away from your imaginary truck. This year's focus is on the animals, savanna and acacia trees.
Underwater Fantasy! June 25-29 Children 1st - 6th grade
Come diving with us through the coral reefs. This session our focus will be on sea creatures, some real and some imaginary. Techniques to draw and paint water and reflections will be covered.
