Scholarships

Studio Arts Scholarships

The Art League of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette offers scholarships for the Museum's studio art classes. Anyone interested should complete an application, which can be requested by calling the Museum at 742-1128, or download this registration form, filling it out and either returning it or faxing it back to 742-1120. Full or partial scholarships are awarded based on artistic merit, need, application, and funding availability. Incomplete applications are not considered.

Scholarship for the Art Education Association of Indiana Conference

This scholarship, in the amount of $150.00, is presented annually to an elementary or secondary art teacher, residing in a county noted above, for registration to the annual conference of the Art Education Association of Indiana.

A condition of receipt of this scholarship is to gather and share information about the conference with the  Art Museum of Greater Lafayette.

Notification that applications are being accepted will be made via the museum’s newsletter, press release to local media, and letters to area schools. Deadline information will be provided at that time and correspond to the registration deadline of the annual conference.  Payment will be issued to the Association and provided to the recipient for sending with his/her registration form.


Guidelines

To apply, please submit the following information to the museum:
  1. Applicant must be a current member of the AEAI.
  2. A statement of interest including current teaching position and professional involvement.
  3. Applicant must agree to gather information at the conference and present the information to the museum.

Children 1st - 6th grade
Head out to the savanna and capture your hunt on paper. Lions, Giraffes, Elephants. Draw fast as you catch the gazelles leaping away from your imaginary truck. This year's focus is on the animals, savanna and acacia trees.
